We had a happy cheerleader and a somewhat happy lion at our house tonight.
Lucie loved her pompoms and megaphones. She was such a cute cheerleader. I hope she soaked it up, because if she's anything like her mom, she may be playing volleyball rather than cheering on the sidelines. But we'll support her whatever she likes!

One of John's favorite movies is Madagascar, so we were sure he'd be so excited to be Alex the Lion. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We had to bribe him with a cookie and a promise of candy to put his costume on, but he was a great sport and was such a cute lion.
We trick or treated to one house -- our neighbor, Barbara. The kids love her and we had a nice chat. They had a little candy, perfect if you ask me!
Thanks Nanie/Aunt Mary and Grandbobbie/Mom for the great costumes!
Check out the photos section for more photos.
Looks like we found Lucie's inner cheerleader. The quest continues for the inner John. Candy and cookies help. Thanks for great team effort mom and dad.
Super cute! GO LUCIE!

GO LUCY !!!!!!!!!! she looks super cute!!!
Lucie gets cuter every minute!
Just want every one to know:
Those are MY grandchildren!!!
For a genuine chocolate chip cookie I'll put on the lion costume.
They both look darling. I do think your Halloween sounds like a perfect one. We used to just drive around Bates, to about 6 houses, Elma Wood would have something yummy, like carmel popcorn balls, homemade. My children got plenty of treats, because they were the only visitors at those homes. It is fun!
