Our good friends, the Daniels family, came to visit us last week.  We had such a great time!

Peter worked with Barbara and Robin years ago, and we've all kept in touch.  It was so fun to have them come visit from CA (last time, they came all the way from the UK!).  Their son, Adam, is John's age.  They really had fun playing together.  Their favorite activity was to play games on their dad's iPads side by side.  John shed big tears when he realized Adam had left while he was sleeping.

One day, we drove over to Jackson and had lunch.  Then, we rode the gondola from Jackson Hole up to the top of the mountains.  It was a little chilly, but such a beautiful view!  And really good waffles.

Lucie had a particular attachment to Robin.  She would cry when he walked away or left the room.  She preferred it if he would hold her all the time.

On another day, we drove over to Grand Teton National Park to String Lake.  It's a tradition for us to go there for the 4th of July.  It was really chilly on the 4th, but this time, it was so warm and beautiful.

We also made a trip up to Packsaddle Lake.  Peter and Robin jumped off the rope swing.  The water was a little chilly for me (glacial runoff to be exact), but I was so impressed that Barbara jumped off "the log" that extends from the shore to the middle of the lake.  This isn't a very good photo of the rope swing...

We also went swimming at the pool, went to the park, ate lots of good food, played games, watched movies...  We love it when they come to visit!
