Christmas Activities

Today was John's preschool Christmas program at the local assisted living facility.  It was so cute!

He knew all the words and hand motions.  I think he was getting a little impatient with Paige (who he coincidentally has a crush on and talks about all the time) -- the girl standing next to him -- because she might be stealing his spotlight a little bit.  It was really funny.

Despite not feeling very good, I've been trying to do some fun Christmasy activities with the kids.

We made a gingerbread choo choo train like last year.  Again, John was giggling he was so excited.

It was so fun, the next week for family night we made the gingerbread house.

This is mostly how Lucie "helped."  She was in heaven with all the candy and was very skeptical why we kept putting it on the house instead of in her mouth.

But she did help decorate a little...

Peter took the kids outside to play in the snow one day.  We actually have on video twice where the kids were playing, stopped, went over to each other to give each other a kiss, then continued to play.  It is the cutest thing I've ever seen, and very surprising!
