Very Thankful Thanksgiving

So I'm a little late in getting our Thanksgiving pictures up.  Actually, there are many other pictures I could post between Halloween and Thanksgiving, but I've not been feeling well, so we'll just go straight to Thanksgiving.

We drove to Arizona to visit my brother and his girlfriend, Melissa (who we met for the first time and love!), for Thanksgiving week.  Mom and Aunt Mary came in town, too.  It was such a great trip!

We went to the Phoenix botanical gardens (photo above) and the zoo.  John cried the whole time on the carousel, but Lucie loved it!

The kids had a great time playing at the park right by Uncle Scott's house.  John had lots of work to do, he was concentrating.

For Thanksgiving dinner, we ate at a really nice resort up on Camelback Mountain.  The food was delicious!

We actually had lots of delicious food while we were there!  Lucie had her first sopapilla.  She was very happy with it.

The last night we were there, we ate at a fun cowboy barbecue place.

Scott and Melissa were so hospitable!  We had such a great holiday.

The big news in our house is we're going to have baby #3 in June!  I've posted it on Facebook, but not here yet.  I've been feeling pretty sick, so my computer time has been minimal.  Thanksgiving would have been much more enjoyable if I felt better, but luckily there were lots of helpful people (especially Melissa!) around to help play with the kids.

I've been feasting on Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches for breakfast, and lots of mini pickles and cinnamon Jolly Ranchers throughout the day.  I'm almost 13 weeks now, so I'm really hopeful I'll turn the corner soon!  It sure would be nice if smelling my shampoo didn't make me want to toss my cookies.

But we are so happy to be having another little one.  We saw the ultrasound at the doctor a few weeks ago and everything looks great.  What a miracle!
